LensiWidgets — Licence (one developer, personal and commercial use)

This licence is the agreement between you and D.R. Lensing for the LensiWidgets library you bought. By using the files you accept it.

1. Definitions

• Software: widgets.js, demo.html, tests.js, test-results.txt and any copies, modifications, minified or bundled forms you make of them.
• Licensee / you: the one developer (one natural person) the licence was bought for. A company may buy on behalf of one named developer; each additional developer needs their own licence.
• End product: a website, web application, internal tool, report, document, e-mail or other work that you or your clients own and that uses the Software to render content.

2. What you may do

• Use, copy and modify the Software, for personal or commercial purposes.
• Include the Software, modified or not, minified or bundled, in any number of end products that you or your clients own, including serving it to end users' browsers as part of such a product.
• Keep the SVG and HTML the Software renders. That output is yours without restriction.

3. What you may not do

• Distribute the Software on its own, or as a substantial part of a template, theme, starter kit, component library, plugin, package or code repository, whether free or paid, including public package registries and public source hosting.
• Sell, rent, sub-license or give away the Software files themselves, modified or not.
• Remove or change the copyright and licence header in widgets.js.
• Claim the Software as your own work or as open-source software.

4. Ownership and the AI-made note

The Software is owned by D.R. Lensing. The library, demo page and test suite were written by an AI coding assistant directed inside the Licensor's project and verified by running the test suite. This is disclosed on the product page and here. The Licensor makes no promise about how any jurisdiction treats copyright in AI-written code.

5. Warranty and liability

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the Licensor is not liable for any claim, damage or other liability arising from the Software or its use beyond refunding the purchase price.

6. Updates and support

Minor updates of version 1.x are included at no cost where the store lets the Licensor deliver them. Support is by message through the store page; replies usually take a few days. No other support is promised.

7. Term

This licence lasts for as long as you keep to it. If you break it, it ends automatically and you must stop distributing the Software; end products already delivered may keep the copies they contain. Sections 3, 4 and 5 survive termination.
